This place is amazing. They have very prompt service and the food came out in reasonable time. It was very delicious with prices consistent with the area. I will return!
Really good crawfish étouffée! Cool atmosphere. Delicious corn muffins served piping hot. Good selection of beers on tap. Friendly servers.
An outstanding southern comfort eatery deep in the Richmond. You’re definitely leaving with the “itis” after eating here. Very good portions at reasonable prices served in a family friendly environment. Number one is going have to go to the smothered pork chop, excellent. A close second is the blackened catfish, suggested by our waiter. Delicious. The fried chicken had a wonderful flavor to it. Successful. The sides all delivered as promised and the corn muffins were awesome. This is definitely a place for gatherings and families. Dos thumbs up ????????
Lovely place, nice neighbourhood feel. I have family that go there regularly and that’s where they took me. Southern comfort food style of meals. I ordered the short ribs with gravy with coleslaw and fries. But because we eat Asian family style, I got to try the oxtail and fried chicken, and the corn side. I donated my cornbread to my Aunty but it looked really nice - I was full though! It’s a little expensive but I’m in SF so it’s not too bad for value and how much food I got. The service was good and helpful. I would definitely come back and will!!
We picked this place based on how close it was after a long day of walking while visiting the city. It was the right choice because we received wonderful service and large servings of tasty food.
Stumbled upon this place and was so happy we found it. We decided to get a bunch of sides and share. Very happy with the selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan options, and the portions are huge! We sat outside and the food came quickly. Waited a bit for the check, but service was generally good. Nice way to have a relaxing evening of delicious food and refreshing beer outside...I'll be back for sure.
I had dinner here on Sunday night with my parents and ate here and had a great dinner. The food tastes great. The service was fast we were in there and out of there in 30 minutes. A must visit if you're in the city here! I give this place 5 stars!
Had a great lunch today with a large party. All the food was excellent. First and foremost, the corn bread was hot and crispy and oh so tasty with butter. I ordered the oxtail with a side salad and red beans and rice. The oxtail was so tasty with brown gravy. The large piece I ate was a little fatty but still succulent, tasty and tender. It went really well With my red beans and rice! My hubby had the spicy fried chicken. He got 3 pieces but they weren't very big. He enjoyed his mac and cheese and collard greens. The meal was solid. I have enough leftovers for dinner tonight! I did devour my entire salad!
Went for Father's Day brunch and it was the perfect place to celebrate the dad in our life! They take reservations which is a plus. The service was prompt and friendly. Loved the spices they use for their fried chicken. The waffles were crispy and soft. The collard greens were so good. The pot pie was humongous filled with chicken but could have used more salt, it was not as flavorful as the rest of the dishes. But the corn bread is definitely something to rave about! Will be back for dinner to try some other dishes.
Lots of good flavor. The fried chicken pot pie was really good. My man loved the spicy fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The pot pie Hit the spot that's for sure. We were seated pretty fast for a Saturday so that was nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Food didn't take to long to come out. I wish they had a kids menu but the servings we got were enough to share with our toddler.
